Gemstone Paintings![]() Gemstone painting is a unique art form developed in Jaipur - the "Pink City" - of Rajasthan. These paintings differ from others due to their use of gemstones as color, without using any synthetic or artificial colors. The designs are created on glass using crushed precious and semi-precious stones and finally pasted by skilled craftsmen on the back side of an acrylic glass sheet. This process is performed entirely by hand without using any machinery.
Apart from their high aesthetic value, these works are more durable, as they do not lose their luster over time. They make terrific gifts for any age group.
