For inhabitants of Rajasthan, a turban is not just a head gear but also a status symbol. It is an object of immense pride, majesty and character. The turban is as essential as the mustache and beard. It has been estimated that there are approximately one thousand different styles and types of turbans in Rajasthan. Our artists have captured some sample turbans beautifully in these hand-painted creations on marble with gold leaf foil and semi-precious stones.
