Weapons

The people of Rajasthan are known as Rajputs (warriors). Rajasthan was once ruled by various kings, and a variety of weapons were used by the Rajput warriors. Being the royal state, these weapons were often decked with precious metals and gemstones. Daggers (hand weapons), pole arms (long-hafted weapons), and battle axes are all examples of ancient weapons. With the use of gold leaf foil and semi-precious stones, our artists have captured on marble the beauty of these weapons.
